From my mobile
Always great riding with you guys . Bob is back riding again like he never missed a beat , one down one to go !
good to see you up and on two wheels.great day for riding but i think we need to find someplace other than munfords for a lunch stop next time.
You guys are getting old.
Getting old? I've been old for a while now. And I'm liking it.
Any good ones to ride to? I know about Jones Falls (the turning pond) and saw a spot out on Westport road just after the fun twisties, Silver Lake rest area off highway 7 and the old bridge ruins in the Mississippi River heading out to Calabogie from Ottawa. Any others?
Flower round lake near flower station on the k and p, calabogie lake there are public beaches, Madawaska river near Griffith several spots. If you are riding prince Edward county point petre is a good spot. To name a few. If you specify an area I'll let you know.
Anywhere within 2-3h of Kingston or nearer is good.
Within 3 hrs there might be 30-40 spots to swim more if you're not too fussy.
Yes, I know there's tons...we're in the land of lakes. Just wondering what the better spots are. Jones falls was better when the swing was still there for instance. Pretty sure someone took that away.
Greetings neighbors to the north. I'm looking at a day ride from the Kingston area via ferry and on the map rt 10 to Perth looked like a nice ride. Can someone please tell me the condition of this road. I will be with a friend on a cruiser so looking for good pavement this time. Thanks in advance.
County rd 10 (Perth rd), is smooth paved - perfect for sifting through the turns on a cruiser.... You can do a virtual ride on google street-view. Enjoy your ride!

If you're doing the ferry from Cape Vincent check the times. Last one back is pretty early if I remember correctly. Wolf Island ferry runs pretty late, if you have time The Island Grill on Wolf Island is a good place to "rehydrate". In Perth there's a Mexican restaurant with seats down by the water on the Main Street that's a good place to stop. Used to be a Mexicali Rosas but I think it just changed the name recently.
Excellent! Thank you very much, looking forward to the visit!
I live near Bath and always go riding in the woods/back roads
I live north of Kingston. I would be down for a ride on some back roads.
I'm down for anything as long as my fat arsed tiger with street tires can manage it. California road was no problem.
Any down for a ride after lunch today? Looks like it's supposed to clear up.
Looks like a bunch of FF's will be invading your area next weekend.
Might be a good excuse to plan an over-nighter complete with Pig Roast.
What are the dual track roads and trails like in the Ashby Lake Rd - Smith Lake Rd - Trout Lake Rd north of Bon Echo, east of Hwy 41 and south of Hwy 28. Does anybody have some good GPS tracks?
