So who got out today? Saw a DR, didn't get a chance to talk with the rider, though. Anyone here?
And tomorrow is gonna be just as nice....
It wasn't me, bikes is still in the basement.
I got out for about 100kms on my Transalp today.I bought it 2 months ago and this was my first chance to ride it!So far so good.New to this sight so hope to meet up with some locals for day trips this year.I have given my son(18)my '78 Cb550 for this summer so will only be doing the roads. We have done Jones falls a few times....Brilliant!!
Solid bike, you'll enjoy it.
Anybody been out yet? Roads should be pretty clean.
Oh yeah, been out alot.
Forseti and I just got back from a ride a couple of minutes ago, as a matter of fact.
What are your recommended rides for the area?
North of the 401, east of 41 all the way to Brockville. Anything in that corridor is fun. Just depends on what you like, ad how long you got. Really is some of the best riding in Canada, just pick a road.
Thinking of going out for a ride tomorrow. Anyone interested in meeting up around noon? I am not overly experienced, but would like to learn. I could be encouraged to go earlier.
I'm in. I gotta be home by 1500 when the boy gets off the bus.
Roads are slick, so you don't wanna be in a hurry.
Earlier works, by 1000 temps are double digit already.
1100 would be a good time. Where is a good place to meet. I am in Kingston, but could meet you somewhere north like harrowsmith, sydenham, etc
Timmy's on Princess, beside Shoppers. The one closest to Costco, where the bikes usually meet.
1100 works. I'll be on a 12 Adv.
Bastards!!! I had to work and have to work again tomorrow.
Here is hoping the weather holds.....
Couple hours sleep, couple of red bulls, go riding.
I will be on a KLR 650. 1100 sounds good. Unfortunate about that work thing Forseti. I had to be restrained not to leave early today.
He's weak that way.
Well that was fun. Cooler up towards Westport, we ran into a guy who just picked a Jawa 350 TS in excellent shape, that was a sweet bike.
The usual sand and stuff, on DLR they're doing roadworks just near the resort, straitening out some corners.
You shoulda come, Forseti.
