Gaspipe is somewhere along the Continental Divide Trail and Gaston was 5'2". His bike needs suspension work right now.

Nice pictures, and I too feel it looks like a PD racebike especially yours. Very cool!

That is an awesome looking bike .I wonder how the marketing works for motorcycles.Just reading the posts on this bike you would think they would sell good in the states. An 800cc single and some people think the KLR is a big one:evil.

Anyone familiar with Suzuki's DR 700 and 800 big machines sold in Europe a few years back. They seem to be built on the same lines as the DR650 with a heavy lean toward Dakar perfromance. Awesome, just not available in the the US

427 pounds dry. I like the way it looks, but it seems heavy for what it is.

They are huge and heavy. Imagine a KLR, but bigger. It has nearly 400 miles of fuel range, and lopes along down country roads at 80mph with ease.

    I have one.

It would probably be easier for us to remember if you just told us which bikes you don't have.

it amazes me that suzuki dont build a dr650 adventure bike ...similar to the 750-800 style ..with bigger tank stiffer suspension bash plate pannier racks spot lights screen heated grips... all suzuki need to do is look at this site and see the mods people have done to their DR's ...c'mon suzuki listen to the people :deal

I saw one of these advertised in the local classifieds, always been interested in these behemoths, any reason why these should not be bought?

    thanks
