I for one am, and I love it.

I have a 1976 Honda XL250, that I love to death. I ride it to work every day, and I ride it everywhere I need to go when its not raining. Really saving the wear and tear on my car, but thats not why I do it.

This bike is just about unkillable, and is super reliable. It aint powerful, and it aint fast, but its fun, and with some coaxing, can go just about anywhere. I have been hitting up the few trails I can find around here, and I am dying for more.

Anyways, I have a thing for vintage stuff, especially vintage thumpers. Love em love em love em.

Here she is in all her ratty glory. I bought it in the beginning of July for $150. It needed a coil/condenser, a kickstarter, which I knew it would need, and a COMPLETE REWIRING, which I didnt know it would need when I bought it :umph

I had a 72 XL250 from 72 until about 88. I moved on to street bikes back then but now getting back into dirt bikes, commute on a KLR650. Have a 97 JTX320 and a 74 TY250 that I hope to get running soon.

Heres my currentl daily driver... I LOVE the xls. my goal in life is to have at least all of the 250s and 350s from '72 to '78. 5 down, 5 to go! Course, that doesnt mean i turn any of the others away, th XL500 is a blast and i think the 175 will be fun once i get it back together. Sprinkle in a TL, a CT, and an MT for added fun.

I'm in the process of buying an XL600R today. I've ridden many old-school bikes in my life, and the ultimate was an old XL500R when I was in HS. Now I'm 30 pounds heavier, so I figure the extra 100cc's should just about make up for the difference. And I love that classic Honda red. If all goes well, pics will be posted by the end of the weekend.

    Wow! CCM!
I have a friend who has a 441, 1967. He practically grew up riding it once he was tall enough. The big end started to go bad so we tore it apart. I just went to his website, it's been over two years. Now that I have the TR6R, he might be getting motivated.

Here is my Elsinore, 2 smokes count right?, Its a 1975 MT125 its a crappy cell phone pic, and at the time was missing some parts but so far I have been able to gather everything original except the rear turn signals and one front side refelctor.

Haha, awesome, I recognize you from the XL forums!

Since I have you here, any idea where I can get a stock exhaust for my 76? Or fork seals? Or brake shoes? I cant find this stuff anywhere, I swear, the 76's must be the rarest of the XL250's
