A friend of mine has purchased a BMW F800 in South Africa and needs to have it delivered to Uganda. He is too busy to do it himself, so he is looking at options.

Is anyone interested in riding it up?

Otherwise he will just have it freighted.

For REAL??!! What is the time frame? How much time, at a reasonable pace, would one expect to take to do the trip?
I ride an F800gs (off road) and have spent time in Uganda (not a a bike though). I'm willing to listen...

When does he need it there by? I've spent quite a bit of time in East Africa. Run through Malawi and into Tanzania then get on the ferry. Would be great if it coincides with work plus I just received a new mesh jacket that needs tested.
