    Hey guys,
I'm in the market for another road bike. I'm thinking about the Falco. Please tell me the pro and cons of this bike. I'm presently on a 98 Ducati ST2 but want something with a little more punch on the top end. Thanks in advance I know its not a dual sport but I need to know.

It's a great bike, you really can't go wrong with it. Engine is damn near bullet-proof, and it's pretty comfortable as a touring bike. Check out apriliaforum.com - it's a pretty friendly place and they'll answer any questions you have.

    Pros:
Unbelievable bargain, great for buyers (plenty available at $4-5k)
Rotax liter twin, awesome street motor (Mine's at 116/68 ATW w/ pipes & chip)
Brembo brakes, Showa USD fork (fully adjustable)
    Reliability, easy service, build quality
Many parts interchangeable with RSV Mille <'04, Tuono <'06
    Apriliaforum.com, great resource

    Cons:
Poor resale for sellers (OK if you bought cheap)
Stock Sachs shock is weak (so I hear, mine has Penske)
Mediocre mileage and range (typical for big twin)
Legroom not great, stock clipons low
    Bodywork hard to find
Many need the "wiring mod" to improve charging (easy, costs nothing)

Mine is not for sale, but if someone wants to trade for a 950 S Adventure or 950 SE, let's talk!

I think this may be the bike for me. Looks like some of my shopping has been done for me.
