Yer area of expertise is goats, leave the monkeys alone. Lol
are any of these $199 boats worth messing with?
wife says she wants to goto creeks and rivers and paddle, but I figure she will use it at the lake more than anywhere else.
remind me again, how the length of the kayak determines how it handles slow vs swift water?
if you gonna do alot of calm water..ponds, lakes etc..you want a long boat..10' or better...if you gonna do current, short boat...I have one short boat and 10 longs..
gotcha, any idea if the $199 boats are worth looking at?
sure they are..they gonna be used boats so I wudnt pay much more for them..10-12 ft abt 200-250.....over 12 ft..$250-300...over 300, buy new
I looked at kayaks last summer at southtown sporting goods. They had good prices and the people there are super!
I only go there to peek into the dressing rooms!
If you are going to buy a new boat, the outfittter in Garfield is about the cheapest place to go. However, there are plenty of good used kayaks out there that you can pick up for a lot less money than a new one and they are just about as good as new ones. The kayaks today are made of plastic and hold up pretty well to abuse.
I havent seen any on craigslist in a while, anywhere else to check?
My shit isn't broken. I just needed to defrag and run cc cleaner. No problems since.
Morning y'alll. Gonna be a cool ride this morning. Might have to break out some heat.
Doc, I had a similar experience w/ Chrome and went back to Firefox.
I grenaded the engine on the Tiger yesterday. Not sure what the cause is till I get it apart, but it's got a rattle in the lower end. The oil light came on as I was running along just over 100 and then the noise. There's oil in the motor so I'm confused. I guess I now have a winter project.
Sorry to hear that O'Jay.
I hate to hear that, let me know if you need someone to drink beer and stare at the engine.
I'm gonna insure and tag the Beemer and ride it, at least it keeps running regardless.
I'll fix the Tiger and put it up for sale in the spring, I don't think I could trust it long term now. May be time to shop for a new toy.
Sounds like a great excuse to sell it to me! Very logical.
Offers being accepted now. See the man behind the curtain.
I didnt realize you still had the beemer..
