Man, you know how to party...... (Gus) <-- something really old....
Happy birthday Mike. Didn't know your birthday is in February. Mine too.
Nice planes too!
Happy Birthday! Thanks for the plane pics,
LOL...yeah turning 39 that would be nice there katbeanz!
Hey JD, glad to see your still kick'n too. Didn't know you were going back to teach overseas. All the best there.
Gus, you know us old guys have learned the "proper" way to party and still get up feel'n fine!
I just got back from a trip down south and saw some vehicles that jarred a few memories. I figure this one is worth sharing...
And one for you guys that like horizontals...
No going back to teach or long term contracts, but I've been making a few trips out of country to consult in various places. Keeps me on my game and helps pay a few bills now and then.
so are you home now or you still outta town? :huh
Home for now. It sure is nice to sleep in your own bed, have a long, hot shower and kick back in the recliner.
How ya been Doc?
That's the way to do it. Nice to be able to set your own schedule too! Good to hear. We can still harass you once in a while then.
Yeah, it's nice to have some time here, some time there. As far as harassing me, I haven't gotten my socks wet in a long time and they're gettin' kinda stinky, but I think what water's out there is still a bit chilly for my delicate feet.
Martha and I are at the Hog haus on Dixon having Hot Wings and a brew, then to Walton Center for Tao of The Drums.
What a party animal!!! Enjoy Charlie.
I be missin ya..we (YOU) need to fire up that lil toofiddy and go blow the cobb webs out of it,,whar you wanna ride to?
Happy B-Day TIN MAN
I am sure Elvis and I can find some water crossings to lead you through to help cure that. We need JDS3 reinstated That JD Soaked Sock Syndrome for any of the new comers.
Happy Birthday Mike
I haven't been down to Oark in a long time. Pie and a burger would hit the spot mighty fine.
With friends like you...and Elvis...and Doc...and 10Cup...and Charlie it's a miracle my socks ever dried out. Guess it's been a long, long time since I've ridden.
Welcome home JD. What was that first bike photo of?
My bike is under heavy maintenance over at Mossey Creek and Friday I get my nuts cut, and next Thursday I go back to work for a week, so I won't be able to ride for awhile. Be sure somebody gets a photo for me of you in the water.
Thanks Elvis. It's good to be back.
Me in the water? Not yet. The water's too cold. Brrr.
The first bike was a BSA, but I don't know what year. I'd guess it's from the 50's. I saw several of them on this trip, some in almost mint condition, but was unable to get my camera out fast enough to catch them as they went past me.
Lots of cool older cars too. Here are a few that were parked in the plaza.
And the taxi (56 Ford Fairlane wagon with a diesel motor and a 4 speed + overdrive transmission) our group toured around in, complete with our hip driver (on the left)...
Lots of fun.
