On a KTM no less!!
one of each and 2 tire replacements!
The one thing my bike has that a store bought machine will never have is Character.
I can understand owning and loving all of those bikes... Minus the first one. Honestly though, you could keep every kid in the neighborhood off drugs with that many bikes! I've got 1 (and a half...sort of) and am looking to add another within the next year or two, that'll probably be it for several years though.
And I don't know about the KTMs. I see more of them than anything else on the road these days (DS and Supermoto wise) so it would make sense to see more threads on problems. And of course they're needy girls who constantly need adjustment, when you think about just HOW needy they are how many of those people do you imagine actually do all the required maintenance? Not many I'd say, which would lead to many Katooms going Kaboom. When I think like that I can't really fault them.
Here's one bike I ride. Does it makes my butt look big? I had a Yamaha but I couldn't wheelie it so, I sold it.
Stick an xr4 motor in that ktm frame and you'll have another bike you can depend on. It will still have poor suspension though.
Well I guess that's a good start to a week. I did 3000 miles last week on my GS.
How many chains, sprockets, valve adjustments, and rear tires did YOU go thru Tom?
Well let me think, ZERO. But I did have to replace a light bulb in my driving lights, bummer...........
yeah..I let him out once in a while..when he is NICE to me that is! :huh
Ask doc about that xr4 motor.....
then I would loose 25 hp and half my torque and I bet 30 mph on topend....
And to think I sold my bike, stopped bantering with you guys on ADVrider...I see nothing has changed! But, thats the way I like it.
Whats up with all you double cluchers?
Must be nice to be able to get more then 3K miles out of a tire, wish I could.
rick????? is that you? I was thinking abt you the other day
Nah, its Shannon. But Rick will work...You would be amazed what I will answer too...Just ask my wife..
Put on a new set of TKC's before we left and they are only half worn, and believe me they did not have an easy life....
I still dont understand that, I need to watch you ride more I guess.
I am HAPPY that I got 3700 out of this kenda big block.
and crap that reminds me, I need to order another one, and then go use Albies Tire machine!
