Man... I hate this. A few days before Isaac made it this far, I predicted to the wife this high pressure ridge would budge just a bit, but would still turn it east and we wouldn't get much rain. Then the high pressure ridge would re-establish itself and the heat would return... with higher humidity. Unfortunately, I was correct.
Highs here are forecasted to be:
Fri: 94 w/30% chance of showers
Summers in "The Sunbelt" suck.
Hello gents. I have returned to NWA, back from hurricaneville. Finally left Lafayette in my aircraft mid day on Friday, and then flew all day after that getting guys back out to get the platforms flowing again.
I got up at 5 Friday morning and didn't go to bed in my hotel in Vicksburg till 1 Saturday morning. Still tired.
I was supposed to pick up this bike trailer for the kids that I bought from a lady in Conway. Unfortunately I didn't come through on Friday as usual and she went out of town. Make make a trip down there Tuesday to get it, not really wanting too though. She works in Little Rock, and may ave to drive all the way to there to get it.
is it paid for? if so, have tinks or afia pick it up for ya..as they are in conway.would save you chasing her around and a possible drive to LR
I got home just in time for my nap.
It is payed for, I will talk to this lady Monday or Tuesday and see if I can work something out so I don't have to go to LR.
Wow, did it get hot out there. Just got home from a short ride with Magoo and Gus. Felt like an oven by the time I got back.
Heh, I spent all morning playing around with Basecamp.
I have been going back and forth to my aunts house looking for her lock box..we finally found it..now all we gots to do is find the keys!
Hanging in the house is better this afternoon after enjoying a short but sweet ride this morning. .
I posted a couple pictures in a ride report just for fun.
Quick Happy Birthday to Oleary today, poor ol fart is now officially a card carrying senior citizen! Welcome to the club dude!!
Happy Birthday Timmy!
Happy B-day Oleary
Friday as soon as we began operations we had a little mishap at Houma. Seems somebody wasn't following the painted lines and drove our old blue Ford tractor, which has a high roll hoop, under an S-76 and jammed it under a blade. They had to package up the aircraft and haul it to Lafayette on a flat bed. That is going to be one heck of a costly screw up. Blade is no good, that is a 100k or so and somme of the parts, if not the whole head will probably be shot.
