    I took a 2 lane rd (400) all the way across Kansas. I usually ran 75 but ran 95 a bit to get Outta a rain shower=]

    Those little survival 22's are neat, but they don't function all that well and are pretty crude. Check out the new ruger 10/22 takedown model, its pretty nice! Comes with a nice carry bag, and locks together quick.

    I had that one in my hands a while back. Ergonomic? Not so much, but feeling comfortable with the ergonomics on these type weapons is up to each individual.

    Nothing wrong with .22 caliper. You can carry a shitloads of ammo, because it's small and light. You can find it anywhere, and it's dirt cheap. You can take down big animals as well as humans with it.
