I saw Travis today on his bike racing past during a hair scramble down by the spoke plant near Boston Church. #851. He did not see me but some people parked next to him said, "here he comes now". They were racing a 7 mile track for two hours! Damm, that must be brutal!

Got my fat dawg back. The idjit was playing in the road 1/4 mile from the house. The lady who had him said he came close to getting hit a coupla time so she turned around and went back to check on him.
She opened her car and the slut jumped right in. :lol3 She found my phone # on his collar and called me today. I drove over to her house and retrieved the mutt. :clap
It was bad enough that he ran off, but going to get him interrupted my tearing down the XR to asses damage.:cry Pics to follow on that lil adventure.:puke1

Ripped the top end off my '95 today. Found a hole burnt in the piston and some scoring on the rear cylinder wall. Sooooo...

New top end. Wondering how big I can go without having to do major intake/exhaust work. I'm running stock carb and exhaust presently.

    Here's what I found.

Scuffing/slight scoring on the cylinder wall.

And so it'll sit till I get all my parts together. Lessee, tires on the wifes car or parts for the bike. Hmmmmmm

    dang Ojay,

what the heck did he do to burn a hole in the piston?

that bike looks identical to my sons xr250 sitting in here naked.

IM glad you got the dog back, ive lost a few through the years, and not knowing always bothers me.

BTW I think I might have seen scribe at a gas station in town this morning.

on a black and grey cool aid maker.

I'm not sure what the cause is Matt. I couldn't find any leaks around the intake tract. And I rode the bike just a few days before Wil did without any trouble. He just got the luck of being on it when it went sour. :deal

The dog is very glad to be back home. :lol3

Great day of hog baseball and cooking today. 2 full briskets, 2 pork shoulders pulled, 10lbs meat loaf, 48 brats, beans, pepperoni bread, a few pies. Fed about 60 folks. Beautiful day outside.

Vic and I are in Jacksonville, FL attending a conference this weekend. The weather's been great.

This is the view from the 8th floor.

I woke up Saturday morning and was getting dressed to go downstairs to my meeting when I heard a scree from outside the window. when I drew back the curtain, I was greeted by an osprey eagle perched on our rail. Vic and I watch him for a few minutes before he dropped off the rail and glided across the river.

We're heading home tomorrow. I am ready to get home.

Its a damn good thing you never tell anyone ahead of time Magoo, its far too likely someone might show up.

    that sir, is pretty cool.

the bird, not the conference, or the local.

just the bird story, oh, and yeah, Vic being with you....
I will ask her to verify the story of the bird the next time I see yall.

    Ojay...

My buddy from the coast was here last weekend, we played guitars until my fingers were sore..

this alvarez you worked on for me, really has impressed me, I like it more and more.

Put a set of 13 strings on it, and the upper end only got brighter, now I realize, I need to swap out the upper 3 strings with smaller ones.

Buddy also gave a me a pic punch, its cool, any credit card, or plastic sheet I can cut into a pick...

he was laughing at me, as I ran around the house chewing up every card I could find and turning into a pick.

Hopefully you can make it next april to the guitar playing shindig where we mostly just camp, and drink beer.

Cool. I do like sitting around and playing tunes for hours on end. I played for 2 1/2 hours Saturday night with another acoustic guitarist. We did a buncha old songs so much that someone tagged us as The Old Guys Rock n Roll Show. :evil

I'm up for a campout with beer and tunes. I'll bring the backpacker geetar and a tent. I'll be ready. :thumb

tell me again the model of that one of yours that I played at Jacks resort, blanchard springs ride I think?

I like it, but I do not remember being able to find that model later when I looked.

I will buy one, and carry it with me...

hopefully my tent is sound proof.
