I'll be there with a clipboard to offer useless supervision.
Sorry about the Yellaphant, but glad that you weren't the one totaled.
You see Mouth....MaGoo and I told you that you need to take the motorcycle safety course. It will teach you how to ride slow.
I just feel lukcy my tag, liscense, registration, and insurance were all valid, and I could actually find them.. thats rare..
Darn O'jay I'm sorry to hear about the wreck! On another note, my GS is for sale and i'll make you a deal!
It's not too bad looking, but it's totaled.
dang!..wish I could help ya out buddy..
That was Officer Hargis...aka Trey..good guy
Just so happens that Officer Trey is a MSF instructor..you shudda asked him for a riding lesson!
I reckon I'll get the Triumph fixed and ride it for a bit. Maybe buy something else in the springtime. I need to sell the house in Texas so I can pay cash. I really, really don't want any payments.
If they (insurance) totals it will you be able to buy it back and rebuild it?
Ojay, that deer impact knocked your muffler clean off!
Ojay, I'm sure glad you're ok. Just last night, on my ride home, I kept reminding myself to "SLOW DOWN", particularly since daylight is diminishing. I hope it all works out for you.
Ted, I don't blame you for selling the GS. As evident by today's posts, GS Riders, seems to draw the wrong kind crowd...
Glad to hear you are OK or at least only roughed up a bit. Sorry to hear that your bike got messed up tho. Sounds like the deer got the worst of it tho. Thank God for his Divine Protection. That is definitely the way I felt after my little get-off. Gave me a new prospective on life. More thankful for all the little things, or at least I used to perceive them as little things. Keep the Faith and keep on keepin on Brother!
Sounds like Charlie, ArkWhizzy and I are "in" (i.e., not much Jeep mechanical help unless it has a bad stator :huh), plus a banged-up O'Jay.
Anybody else??? No welder and/or strong easy out volunteers?
Let's not make work for you and Ms. Sharn', Doc. All you need to provide is a fire. Each of us can bring our own drinks and something we toss on the grill for ourselves. No menu planning that way, nor guessing who will show, OK?
well I know Ms Sharn will make a SAMS run tomorrow and she will come back with a box of patties for burgers and buns..she will make a potato salad and pasta salad..y'll are on your own for drinks..so load your big or little ice chests..my main project for saturday is to get the top on the jeep..and if we can work on motor mounts, thats great, but that is not a priority right now..but gettin the top on would be GREAT!!!
I can bring a 5lb sledge!
You might get some if you post a craigslist ad, in Eureka Springs.
hell..I got that here already...just bring yourself!
I gots skills working on Jeeps, but I'm also throwing a Halloween party this weekend, so I can't help.
I do have a little Lincoln handy mig welder you could borrow if you need it. Also, I have some Brown dog MML I'm not using. Don't know if they will work on your year, but I do know they work on both the 4 and 6 cylinder of my year.
Let me know.
