some of them are from Texas.
Ugghhhhh, that's like the Aids!!!
I agree with Mouth. This is not the thread for that kind of stuff. It tends to be divisive.
Just got done mounting a 1 1/2 gal Koppins gas tank on the DRZ rack. Had to fab a plate to attach it to. Turned out pretty good, except when I fill it it there is some air in the top. Has some slosh when it rocks back and forth.
Guess I will test it out tomorrow.
I use a guy in Gentry. Used to work for us before he set up shop on his own. I think he is good.
whats the stock DRZ tank range?
those Koplin tanks are pretty neat.
except Doc does it wrong, I think he put tools or something in his.
Kinda like BMW's.
2.6 gal stock - I hit reserve last trip at 105 miles and last 40 miles was Hwy when Albie and I came back Hwy 62 - we were running about 65-70 mph. Reserve is .6 gals so roughly 130 miles or so. That extra 1.5 gal should give me another 75. the good thing is I found it on Amazon for $38.00 with mount and free shipping. lot cheaper than buying a bigger tank and I can take it off if I need to.
Do you happen to have a picture or a link to it? Would be a lot cheaper to go that route then buy a new tank right now.
I will get a pic on the bike tomorrow.
Well of course...everyone knows that BMW owners are...well....different oser
What's your point?
I'm sure you ment that in a nice way
Where the hell is everyone meeting tomorrow at 11? I might work up the courage to get cold and join y'all.
if albies junk was actually running, he wouldnt be riding that slow!
no seriously, thats a 50mpg average I think?
pretty good actually, im always surprised at how bad the actual fuel economy of a bike is
makes me miss my xt225
Oh I see, YOU arent at fish camp yet...
that explains why magoo was having fun today.
Dude, the DR has like 25 HP, fast it isn't.
I thought they were rated at 48 or so?
I am sure you are faster on a DRZ than me on a Busa....
