That's what happened at Weddington. For a while they had the hiking trail and you still could ride in some areas as long as you stayed off their trail. That didn't happen and lot of people were caught riding on the trails, so they shut off the whole area for motorized vehicles. :(:

you cant even take the powerline trail to the river any more can you?

I wish the forest service would provide better maps and info of whats usable and what is not.

Its difficult for me the discern between the two, and the websites are laid out in a non intuitive way to me.
i understand they have a tiny budget, but I sure have ahard time finding info online about maps or areas with camping and such

yeah thats what I'm alway worried about...I try to err on the legal side so I lose out either way...same with hunting, hiking around and all of a sudden I'm on the opposite side of a no trespassing sign. heck just a few weeks ago I rode under a fallen tree (that was high enough to get under) and had a blast until I ended up on the other side of a road closed sign.

    Ok magoo

    im checking out amazon prime

its $79 per year , or $7.99 per month, thinking I might try it per month first.
Id like to know it has similar availability to netflix, or hopefully even better.
    then I could drop netflix.

thanks for the heads up on it, I had no idea it involved unlimited movie streaming, and now I see it also includes the kindle library, which I can use since I assbroke my nook.

Matt, like I said. I got Prime just for the free 2nd day shipping, I didn't know about movies or books. I likely will stick with Netflix, as I have an AppleTV which blocks Amazon Prime.

I'm old enough to remember when flying was a big deal. My parents used to make us dress up in our good clothes, we'd get all excited like it was Christmas, and if you sat in the back folks would start firing up cigs as soon as the wheels left the tarmac.

Nowadays planes are flying buses. And at 6'3" there is very little I like less in this world than sitting in those seats for hours on end.

    haha, yes.

my mother worked for an airline for a while, and was always commenting on how terrible people dress these days for flying.

I can remember people being able to smoke inside walmart, but not on planes, I dont think I ever flew as a younger child though.

I've had Amazon Prime for well over a year now. I started using Netflix about a month ago and haven't looked back. I particularly like the CC on Netflix. The Netflix selection seems a lot better and more diverse. I'll keep Amazon for the free 2-day shipping and no sales tax. The Amazon video benefit has long faded. I haven't explored the online books or audio books, on Amazon but my wife downloads several books for herself and the kids.

Don't know yet. I rode it today for the first time and still crossed ice, in a few places. There's no tach, so I'm wanting to get a little more acquainted with the bike before I wring its neck.:lol3 I passed a car this morning and quickly realized that I won't be doing that very often. The riding position is great but the power delivery is wimpish. I think it's gonna make a great commuter and weekend play bike. The insurance is cheap and the fuel mileage should be around 70mpg. I'm thinking the BMW will leaving this spring. :cry But that'll make room for another bike, next fall/winter.
