The wife is waiting closer to spring.
Play it backwards - your woman will come back, sand will run out of your boots, and your pole will get fixed!
Looks like you're having fun despite the weather!
then I'll spit out the whiskey as my dog comes to life
Man, by spring she'll really be bound up won't she?
kind of like a griz coming out of the den
(insert yellow face slapping knee and laughing uncontrollably) (while holding stomach)
So you can check that one off of your "bucket list".
Shit, that's the 3rd one I've survived. As far as natural disasters go, a hurricane is about all I have left to experience. :eek1
Albie, if you are going to talk about surviving one, you need to do it coming out of this like my 2 kids & I did.
We had one hit our place in Hope, we had taken refuge in the shelter, damn tornado actually hit our well house, hopped over the house then hit our barn. Couldn't believe how lucky that was! :eek1
I think I'm gonna live here a while, after all what are the chances I get another one this close. Gotta be like lightning strikes right?
Growing up in OK, I have had a few "close encounters" myself.
In the mid-seventies we had twin twisters travel north to south along Peoria and Lewis, in Tulsa. Our house was halfway between the two.
Dad and I were standing on the front porch watching them until they got very close.
Let's ride to Nawlins for Thanksgiving. Oughta be just about the right time.
Been there done that.
When I say that's about the only natural disaster I haven't experienced, I was wasn't saying that longingly.
C'mon Albie. A Hurricane Party is a thing of beauty. Sitting on the back porch drinking beerz while 3 million gallons of water rush by ya horizontally.
I hear ya Charlie. A hurricane really ain't much fun, but I'll take one of those over a tornado anytime.
here ya go
you are welcome!
