Here! Have a cuppa coffee and try and grumble quietly.
I went back to sleep anyway. Today I am going to work on the wiring on the DRZ again. Hopefully I will be able to get the right combination of wires to get the key switch wired in. The damn thing doesn't have a plug on the end of it so I have to hard wire it.
Wish we could work that out but it looks like the week after that ride. I'll keep surfing some of yall's old ride reports.
remind me again Charlie, Friday afternoon?
Im thinking we struck a plan, but for some reason, it isnt in my memory.
if y'all do gps, check out the SLAP trax..all of which are very dooable from mulberry Mtn as you'd be real close to many of those trax..
With Albie's generous offer to help me this morning the new wiring harness and the old key switch are wired up and everything is functional again. So the Drz lives on. It's really nice to have a color sighted person to help you when you're wiring stuff. All that's left is to rewire my accessory circuit. Thanks for the help Albie.
If anyone's seen this yet. This fellas day sucked bad real quick.
:eek1 "Oh fuck!" is right.
Thats why I recommend an inline filter. The petcock filters are almost as dependable/effective as an 87 yr old crack head working girl. I have had perfect luck with the brass insert Visufilter. Just do it!
This is exactly what I wanted to see. Thanks!
That was awesome!
Dam that is a heck of a crash. If your not wanting to watch the whole thing start at 5:00. Guy was doing pretty good for crashing that hard.
oh my, looks like somebody has meant the limits of their policy
No problem, I wanna see you up and riding ASAP.
The crunching sounds.
I've had that nightmare before. Lucky dude. Almost was a whole lot worse. Lucky he landed on the first ledge. I'm sure we all have had close calls that could have been that bad or worse. Just get us old timers started talking about crashes.
Hey Doc First kick Fired right up. Just went for a nice 42 mile ride out of Bella Vista. There so many dirt roads up here. I keep trying new ones each time.
