This was nothing compared to split sternum but the bad part is following DR's orders for 2 weeks and beyond.

Stuckin, Was that your XR parked at Marvin's IGA with a baguette stickin out the back?

I had the truck and had just grabbed ingredients to start dinner. Then I got to play with chainsaws once I got the slow cooker going.

Dang Wayno..just dawned on me what you meant abt that cork in your artery..happened to me once 30 some yrs ago, been on blood thinners ever since! :eek1 Dont mess around with that stuff..it'll kill ya!

I had a VERY productive day yesterday! :clap I had two tall trees that were interfering with my fabulous view that I have pointed out to some of you, well them two trees are DOWN! :thumb one of them trees was HUGE and when that sumbitch came down, he hit hard! He will help to heat the house next year.

We also got the new gates built up at the barn. That took most of the day..am sore from diggin 5 post holes and building fence, but it is done, been wanting to do that for some time now. Also, while I was doin all of that, the Mrs was off at a job interview in HSV, and thats looking good too. We may have money agn soon and while she's off at work, I can go riding agn! :clap

I am currently sitting in The Breakfast Nook in beautiful downtown Natchitoches, LA. One block off the riverfront. Lotsa history and really cool architecture to be seen.

Sorry I ain't home to visit, but a road trip was much better sounding. :thumb

Anyone know a good aluminum welder? Noticed the top box on my 950 was flappin' around more than usual. A quick look underneath revealed a cracked subframe.

I've used Swanson Welding in Springdale. Stellar fabrication and welding. My fender support/cross member on my rear subframe was shattered and mostly missing. they fabricated a new one from scratch and welded it in place for $70
