22lr is the perfect zombie caliber, so its obviously in short supply as smart people stock up for the invasion.

    What model do you have?

As for the .22lr ammo, everyone thought the gov't was going to come take their toys so they keep buying all the ammo they can. If they would just quit buying everything that hits the shelves it would all return to normal. I was lucky enough to find about 1000rds the other day that I forgot I had, that was a nice surprise.

Yes I would say, WM, Cabelas, Sturms, Ozark Warehouse and Academy...no ammo.

I have a model 23 in 40cal. Great gun. 40Cal is in short supply too. I still have my trusty 1911 45 though, ammo no problem for it.

Nice. I had the model 22, wish I wouldn't have sold it. Now I've got an LCP 380 and I'm babysitting my brothers 1911. Just like you I don't have a problem finding 45 ammo, but 380 is nowhere to be found

I searched on line too and all the sites I found were sold out and promise to notify you if they ever get any more in stock.

Cabelas had a Barret 50 Cal in the show case with a big scope on it. What a gun, I bet the shells cost about $10 each though. (nope, just checked only $5/shot)

Starting to see a little ammo on the shelves, not very much thou. I got an email from Cabela's showing they had some ammo. A lot more than what they have been showing online. There for a while people were all over the ammo on the shelves. About like a fat boy on a cupcake. :rofl

Was sitting in Taco Bell, in Fayetteville, about 5pm tonight and my boy says look dad a BMW. Sure enough, it was a GS going East on MLK, yellow jacket and panniers. My boy told me he knew it was a BMW because it had a big butt.

Can't have too much .22 ammo. It's the post-apocalyptic ammo of choice for keeping yourself fed with small game and for barter. Not much good against zombies however.

Why wouldnt it be? All they need is head or spinal damage. 22 may not carry much energy but it doesnt take much to fracture a neck. Its all about placement.
