Good to know at least one person respects you.
That's about it. I really wanted to go, had a kid at home with strep and my wife was working. I hate that I missed an opportunity to pilfer through another persons stuff.
Well we have one less nice gravel back road in NWA. About 2-3 weeks ago they finished widening out and paving over the former gravel portion of Campbell Loop road located south of Greenland and east of I-49.
I hope they leave the one that runs out of the south side of West Fork, under the highway and then out by the corner/liquor store by I-49 and the Hghwy 74 exit unpaved.
I need a dirt road from Fort Smith to McAdoodles in Jane Mo.
You do know there is a new Macadoodles at I49 and the Cave Springs exit right
Aren't you in Texas?
But if you go to Jane, there's some good food to be found at the Jane Store.
True that... And yes, Scribbles...we are back in cold Rio Vista...gonna be 23* tonight. I have the tank heaters on and the faucets dripping.
its 15 here right now, and dropping to 12 in the next few hours.
Riding home from work today was, ... brisk.
Missouri alcohol prices and lower taxes more than pay for the drive to Jane. And the Mo. stores carry a larger selection.
Heater in the black water tank for nice steaming piles of poop?
Not unless he wired his stator bassackwards.
Macadoodles was the first “shopper friendly” liquor store I had ever been in. When we lived in Beaver Shores, it was a 40-odd mile round trip to get beer. Sure, Springdale was closer, but I don’t give my money to the Hewitt/Spgdl Liquor Assn mafia.
Now Benton Co is wet, but piss on them. I’ll buy my booze north of the border.
Do you guys remember the Benton County sheriff trying to bust people for buying cases of beer and reselling it in, Rogers, I think? They asked Mac store manager if they could stake out in their parking lot. Uh, hell no. So they parked across the street in what is now the car lot, taking pictures. Hope they busted those vicious beer runnin bootleggers.
They should make a movie about that. A big semi, and a Trans Am... yeah, that would work!
Or a mini-van and a scooter.... just sayin.
It would be an awfully short movie given the distance.
Only been in a Macadoodles once, the one in Rogers I think. Nice place, good prices. Wish they'd come south.
Because Rogers is so freaking far away!
When I was 11 y/o a neighbor carried 5 of us neighborhood boys across the county/state line from Bentonville, to buy our first beer. We pooled our money and headed out on a Friday night. A couple cases of beer and a couple bottles of whiskey were our score. When we got back to his house, we were surround by LEO and the dude was sentenced to a couple years in a federal prison for kidnapping(state line) and providing to minors. He didn't like buying liquor in Washington County either.
