Attached are routes for this weekends camping event. I am a little late in posting these and they may change as the preride was so wet there were a lot of creeks we couldn't cross but should be good for this weekend. I plan on riding what we didn't last weekend this Friday. I will bring my laptop and update the routes with anything I find Friday. These should be good tho so be sure and download them. Those of you who have GPS's that cannot take more than 500 points on the tracks will have to break up the track into a number of tracks. See you all there, it should be great riding weather. :norton

Here is a link to the Treat Tracks that Bo, Wookazoid, and Troywolf have been discussing on the AR Ride Report thread. The track is one that Wookazoid and a couple of his buddies rode in November of 2011. I added the waypoint for the Three Sisters Cave and Waterfall as well as Sarah Watermans grave.

I am going to be in the Kimberling City area this weekend. I have been on a bike for more than 35 years but a GS for a much shorter time. I looked at this ride using Google Earth. The Wookazoid ride looks fun. How can I load this into a Garmin Montana.

    Thanks for any advice.

In the original post, just right click on the file and select "Save Link As..." (Wookazoid Ride 11-23-11.gpx) and put it on your computer where you can find it. Then, you can download it directly in Basecamp (or Mapsource) to your Montana. If you need help on basic GPS operations of those programs, post up questions over in the GPS 101 Thread and folks will help you out there.

Fayetteville to the Upper Buffalo River. Just an out and back of easy to moderate gravel. Note, the very end of this track can be quite tough during or after wet weather and if you stick it out will end at the river and eventually out to highway 16. Fayetteville and Huntsville are your only two opportunities for fuel.

This is a big bike friendly, easy, relaxing ride from Fayetteville Arkansas (Fayetteville Mall) to Pineville, Missouri along the Big Sugar Creek and Elk River. It is a mixed Tarmac and dirt ride through rural Arkansas and Missouri.

It is best taken during the summer but it is still a beautiful ride in colder weather.

The tracks are filtered to 700 track points. There are ample opportunities for fuel. One restaurant on the square in Pineville.

A trip from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Ponca, Arkansas via Stoverville Road. A great ride and very scenic.

The tracks are filtered to 700 points. The map was created using CNNA 2013.3 and if this isn't your version of CNNA you should retrace the route in your version.

This route takes you from the Downtown Fayetteville area to Natural Dam a naturally occurring rock dam. Best seen during wet weather but beautiful at all times of the year. There is gas in Fayetteville and again once you reach Natural Dam. There is also a restaurant in the gas station. Be sure to try the cheese fries!

The route also gives you two alternates. If you want to camp, hike or swim stop in and visit or stay at Devils Den State Park. If you want a road that will challenge you, then go to Pannell Road alternate BUT THIS ROAD IS NOT BIG BIKE FRIENDLY ON ANYTHING BIGGER THAN A 650. Both are shown as alternates in the ride tracks.

The tracks are filtered to 700 track points and were made with CNNA 2013.3. If your version of CNNA is different be sure to retrace the route using your software or you will end up with errors on your map.
