Really? You used the mass shootings at Fort Hood as the premise of a thread debating which ammunition is better for killing peope. It's either a troll or you are completely clueless. Either way, your time here will probably not be a long one.

Wow - I guess my time in the military really left me with no clue what hand guns - especially the .45 and the FiveseveN - were designed to do.

Thanks for the lesson. Now I know to limit comments about gun fatalities and ballistic stats to non-Americans.

    Sorry to bother you. :1drink

I don't think the content was your issue as much as the giant-ass picture. Also if you do believe in gun rights (like me) be aware that there are some people who are super sensitive to them, and are looking for any reason to take them away from people.

Agreed - and thanks for the common sense response.

I also agree the image size was excessive, but not intentional. I found it on Google images and copied the link. Google automatically resizes the image to fit the screen, so I never noticed how BIG it really was and I didn't bother to take the time to manually resize - my apologies.

Find something better to do with your time than compare which guns kill more effectively, jesus...

Thanks to moderators on this one.

Aside from porn, welcome to one of the most popular topics on the internet. Don't believe me? Just look at the number of smilies the Adventure Rider forum has dedicated to guns and killing:
    :chace:gun1:gun2:2guns:defend:shoot:war

Maybe y'alls time would be better served on an Oprah forum than in Jo Momma? :dunno

right, why are you using the mass shootings at Fort Hood to compare guns, the kill stats you posted are worth nothing, unless they were all hit in the same spot, all weighed the same etc... didn't your expert military training on handguns teach you this?

vet here too, but don't use it to assume smarter than non-mil.

Police departments and militaries around the world study real-world shootings for balistic data and wound channels, and Fort Hood will be no different. The results just won't be posted in Jo Momma.

However, it's pointless to discuss this with Obama-love'n liberal mindsets, so I'll head back to the Thumper Forum. :1drink

I'll bet if you looked, you would find forums for both porn and guns. Perhaps they are even all on one site. Don't let us keep you from them.

All kidding aside. We welcome all noobs here at ADV Rider. This is a vibrant community made up of people from all walks of life. Like any community there are social norms and customs that are subtle.

Rather than settling down before you settled in you came on strong and violated the understood rather than the stated. Then, instead of figuring out what you did, or sending a PM to the moderator who moved your post, you walked into the proverbial town square and challenged the sheriff to a gun fight at high noon.

Ballistics are studied in a lab. Psychosis is studied in a lab. Morality is studied amongst your peers, and they have spoken. There's a LOT of mil and former mil here. No one will be impressed (there are plenty of people here who have been in places you can't even lie about). Appreciative? Sure. Thank you for your service. You are welcome for mine. Tragedy is not the place to discuss effectiveness.

I love how everyone tells me the moderators have spoken, yet y'all keep flapp'n your opinions in the wind.

I could spend an afternoon posting ballistics studies that are done OUTSIDE of a lab...

...however, no one really cares because they're too caught up in me using the proper noun "Fort Hood" instead of "Location X".

"The study of what bullets do to tissue, bone and organs is called wound ballistics, and this field has come up with some definite conclusions about the destructiveness of projectiles on humans." - http://health.howstuffworks.com/human-body/parts/best-place-to-get-shot1.htm
Please explain how ballistics are studied in the lab w/o first occuring outside the lab? Did your superior to my military experience teach you the military arsenals were all developed with nothing but ballistics gel?

I also politely asked why the thread was moved. While I did not ask in a PM as someone suggested, instead I asked in a forum titled "Ask Baldy...". "Ask" here is the opperative word. I asked, and got back a smartass response from a moderator. Then someone else implies I'm not allowed to ask these types of questions because my thread count is too low. How many licks does it take to reach the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?

What's next - everyone gets upset because I drive a '73 VW Bug that was commissioned by Hitler?

I asked you to let it die you didn't. When you come back, you'd do well to let this die.
