    170bhp, V4, hand-built, 100 made to measure bikes made each year :)

    I love it.

FWIW, whilst they made many many excellent bikes in their time, their last one, made in 1970, the same year they folded,...well..not so much

Yes. Ariel Ltd. Not to be confused with the Ariel Motorcycles that gave us the square four.

It is not at all that Ariel is back, it is that there is a new Ariel.

I'm sure it's a hell of a machine. But that is hideous.

My TU was super low budget. It came with a brunette in a sundress.

I was out in Pismo Beach in 1981 when I saw the first Square 4 I'd seen. A very cool configuration! The new model looks like it's going to be in Confederate territory, moneywise...

She was too high maintenance though, so I returned her for store credit. Haven't decided what upgrade to go for.

Ya, it is like the stopped designing at the seat; it looks very chopped with the abrupt end of any style or design at the seat.

What's with that stupid rear fender?
Any crap that the rear tire picks up is carried around and shot straight forward into what appears to be the electronics under the seat! :eek1

No comments on the girder fork?
John Britten used a girder on his race bike many years ago.
About a quarter down the page for those interested.

I rode a restored Square 4 around the block several times, super smooth.
The cranks are counter rotating and herringbone geared together.
The intake is just an open plenum on top of the very hot head, so compression must be low to avoid detonation.

Considering that was 1970, I'm hoping it comes with her daughter!...or maybe even granddaughter.

That sure is ugly, looks like someone crashed it into a wall and kicked it in the ass.
