Has any one tried the "Flaps down grill" at the springdale airport?

it was a decent cafe years( 10 +) ago, then a a couple of years ago supposedly changed and got better, but seems to be oddly variable now with the menu and open hours?

    any info?

    Simon's Dinner in Fayetteville.

    Moroccan Fare, very good.

Mouthfulloflake, Doc Lewall, Albie and me had lunch there yesterday. We had Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Chicken and Beef Kabobs, Hamburger and Greek Salad. They were all really good. The prices for an entree varied from $10 to $16.

I will go back and can make a recommendation to others to try it.

I don't know about you, but we used to go to Bobs once a week. They changed owners, and my brisket has not been the same since... They serve it on Thursdays. Have not gone there in a while.. may give it another shot.

Jamie's Local Flavor in Harrison. I got just a plain cheeseburger and didn't get a picture of it, but I'd put it up there with some of the better I've had in the state. My daughter said the catfish is great as well. Pretty diverse menu too... not just a burger place.

Per WFO Pete's comments above on the 27 places in Arkansas that serve the most delicious pie, Godsey's in Jonesboro was also a premiere burger joint. It was bought out but the original owners started another restaurant, "J-Town's Grill" near Arkansas State's football stadium. I've eaten there several times but a couple of weeks ago, the waitress mentioned the special called "Noah's Ark". It was a 1/2 lb. burger patty, a boneless chicken thigh, pulled pork, a slice of ham, bacon, a fried egg, liberal amounts of cheese on a jalapeno bun. I didn't get it at that time, but did get it last week:
    upload_2016-1-19_12-38-9.png

I've never had a sandwich/burger that I couldn't get squashed enough to eat. I had to zig-zag my way up and down. I could only eat half of it and took the other half home for supper. I have to say it was absolutely delicious! If you're in Jonesboro, J-Town's Grill is worth a visit.

So Greg, just out curiosity, what kind of dollar amount is attached to a "Noah's Ark"?

Seems you had about five sandwiches worth of food between the buns.

I have eaten at J-Town's Grill many times but have yet to ever pay (out of my own pocket) for a meal. We have one of our company's distributors here in town that takes us there frequently... and I've paid a couple of times on our company's credit card. Remember though, there is no such thing as a free lunch!

I did see the ticket and it was $13 for the sandwich and fries. For all the livestock that gave their lives for my benefit, I consider that a very good deal.
