From William Creek we headed back south again for Roxby Downs, Woomera, Horrocks Pass & home

First stop was the old Ghan Railway siding of Beresford with it's artesian water desalination plant still with plenty of undergropund water pressure on tap

Some brilliant pictures there, well done. You guys covered some amazing places. Well done on a great pictorial report!

I was out that way in August, and saw those red Blitzwagons at Birdsville. They had just done the Simpson, West to East. They rolled into Birdsville the same morning I came in from Walker's crossing. Nice blokes to yarn to aswell.

    Regards, Dan

    Great pics! Well done !

I love the flinders - and the south Australian outback as a whole.

Recently read a great book called "Mr. Stuarts Track" by John Bailey (http://shop.abc.net.au/browse/product.asp?productid=522821)

It chronicales the expeditions of John McDouall Stuart as he explored Central Australia. It's a great read & give a fantastic insight into a lot of a well known (and lesser so) places throughtout SA & NT.

    Anyway - Good job !

:clap :clap Great report mate. Did a similar trip a few years back in the 4x4 and it's going to be my first long one on the new bike once I get geared up and ready.
