I start with a photo of a rider I met in AK - Federico Kano from Argentina

He's a master of low budget traveling in my book.

My wingman and I were on our way to Alaska last summer and, refueling in McCall, ID, a fellow from Texas rode in on this:

He said he was riding Tok where he kept an aircraft. He spent the summers flying people up the the glaciers on Denali. He was quite a character!

Not sure if this qualifies, but you have to admit the old Beemer has a bit of the "junked up" look!

Here's Phil Funnell, almost 80 years old. Can you guess the bike and size?

You obviously know him but your information is kind of old. It's a 250 Yamaha Virago and this is the newer "pod". As you say, the old one got stolen. This new one is much more refined, has better suspension and utilizes a heavy duty bicycle wheel.

There is a 250cc Virago under there somewhere. I had the pleasure of meeting Phil at one of our club meets a few years ago. He actually sleeps in the trailer pod and manages to pack a pretty efficient camping set up in there.

120 MPG gives away that it is a smaller bike.
