Why would you bother. If that other retrobate north of you will only fall of and damage it if he is still going to buy.:D.

The pin hole looks like it was caused by a cinder at the Classic. The northern areas Tiger guru has a remedy!!! All good.

Took the long way from Brisbane to Mingoola for the 25th Ruptured Budgie Rally.

Night 1 was spent at Dalmorton on the Old Grafton Rd in NSW

This road and the tunnel were one of the reasons I got this bike.

From desert and dust to hilly forests to open farmland and all surrounded by some amazing beaches and coastline.
    Still so much to see.
Anyone ever comes over here there's always a place to stay even if it's the floor.

See that engine and crash bar mount bolt just where my tank bag strap is hanging down?
Snapped in half. Will have to ezy-out the remains. 20180519_134151.jpg

Hi guys, a long shot & maybe jumping the gun but I’m running out of time I’m leaving for the UK on Thursday 7th July and my 800 xcx is getting serviced over there now..The dealer just emailed me and said I have 2 broken rear spokes and Triumph Uk is out of stock, all the dealers have them on back order.. spokes broken at hub end...
I’m going to ring the dealer here Newcastle area , will also ring Sydney... tomorrow to see if they have any, My research says I need part number T 2016704 which is up to the vin numbers ending 712925 .. If I come up empty at the dealer tomorrow would anyone have a couple of spare I could buy to take with me ..and fit over there . I’m heading on a trip around Ireland with my partner and fully loaded... would feel a bit better if I had all the spokes .. and if I break anymore it’s all gunna go south.. cheers Phil

AN old trick we used to use when spokes broke during a ride was to zip tie the cross spoke location ( mid span) to stiffen them up a bit. I am not sure if it has more than a placebo effect.

Ring John Titman Racing and ask if they can make you a set.
My front set from them was hundreds cheaper than Trumpy.
I'll go back in this thread and check the price.

JTR $160 spokes and nipples and airfreight to Perth.
    Triumph $500 and back order.
    Faark me!

Cheers mate... I’ll remember that trick... on more reading it seems a few people have had the odd end of the spoke at the hub end fail..
