Bl¤¤dy fantastic job on the fotography again this year Ross...!!! Your action shot's clarity, their colour composition and "framing" are second to none... (but there are a number of folks that can take shot's of jumping bikes and sliding cars with dust behind them... eh ). But what sucks me right in to your work is the "periphery" photo's you capture... or "Aunt Sylvia's happy snaps" as I admiringly refer to them. Many of these photo's (with seemingly little to do directly with the action/passage of the rally itself) - at least in my mind - helps to put the setting and environment that the Safari passes through in context. A rally is more than just a motorsport event conducted across a dry dusty desert somewhere, and your eye for the surrounding vistas, or small details Ross, help define the "spirit" of what makes this Aussie event so special... It's not just the cars, the bikes and competition out on the tracks and trails that make the Safari what it is... it's the people and the places that it visits that leave a mark on a person... and Sylvia, you capture that in aces with your photography! Thank's again, I would relish the chance to flip through an "Aunt Sylvia's special edition album" one day. Cheers Troy C.
