I'm looking for a bracket to mount aux lights under the triple clamp on my 990.

Dustjunkie was selling these in the vendor forum but I believe he's not making them anymore:

Any ideas on where to get something similar?

I have a 2010 also, I had inquired about these a while a few months ago and they were working on a version for the newer bikes. Give them a call.

Yeah. I had the older brackets that attached to the crash bars, but they were no match for the vibrations of off road riding. They broke in about 400 miles. Kurt said he's working on a new design. I think he'll have them ready pretty quick.:thumb

There is a place in town about .5 miles from where I live that has a water jet and powder coating facilities. I could draw up my own fork mount bracket and get some made if people are interested. Something like the cad image above. I can always go down to Edelman's for a test fit. I suspect people want aluminium?

I got a couple from Jake (Dustjunkie) (order confusion for why I ended up with 2). Excellent fit and finish. I sold the spare to another inmate last summer. I offered it for what I paid plus shipping, first commitment got it. I wish I had ordered a hundred, b/c I had dozens of pm's on just the one spare I posted. The guy who bought it threw in another $5 on paypal just to seal the deal (I didn't ask for it). I've had good luck with Blackdog on other parts and it looks very similar in design. Good luck!

Lifting an old thread, broke the Vagabond bracket:

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/dirtyadv/7491930840/" title="Untitled by DirtyADV, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7263/7491930840_5db4282cf2_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="Untitled"></a>

But have myself to blame, have the old style front fender and still had the old lump holding the old single side brake line and can see several marks on it so it has hit the light multiple times before the bracket failed.

Should have remove that, might be good to check if you are running the same setup! Right side seems to clear can't see any signs that the light have had contact with the fender.

Does anyone have a template for the bracket?
I'm a bit of a "do it yourself'er" and would like to fab up my own bracket.

EZ, I have been rooting around for a bracket that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and that would fit in the cowl area. I stumbled across a post here somewhere, and did some digging........there is a bracket that I liked that sounded reasonable, but was only offered in Europe. I contacted the US distributor for those products and they were nice enough to add it to their web page. I have one ordered as a part of their next shipment, but don't have it as yet......I thought I'd put it up here for your consideration.

Will it fit the 2010 990 ADV? How long will it be before they ship? Thanks!
