Greets. I know you're on the road, so no worry about a delay in responding via the thread; I'd inquired (I think maybe) a couple weeks ago via the "contact us" link on the website and hadn't heard back.

Can you clarify what switch is being or will be supplied? I've seen what looks like a rubber-capped toggle switch, and a two-hole mirror perch/master cylinder mount switch that looks like it is lighted (but I can't find that one again). I don't really have room for a switch like the Eastern Beaver one, even though that's what I'd like to use if I built a harness myself. The plan is to use a Skene controller to limit the low beam/daytime brightness, but I do want a switch with some sort of indication that the lights are on.

    Thanks!

    It's this one.

it's a self adhesive pushbutton, with green and red lights.

It's not my favourite, I'm going to upgrade to one of these:

Thanks to everyone who replied on the switch question.

Lighted switch is included with the kit. Similar to that seen in pic above.

Most people (myself included) are quite happy with this style switch. A few (about 10%) prefer a different type of switch. We will soon be adding the optional handlebar mount switch (second pic). Although not an upgrade it is an alternative and can be retrofit. It will be added to our site next week sometime and will be a $17 option.

On another note - I just finished up on the CDR and should be back home/shop soon. Sorry for any delays in replying to emails and or phone calls. Thanks for all for bearing with me over the past month (gotta ride :D)

For anyone interested in reading about the ride you can check it out over on RoadRUNNER's website

Any plans for a dimmer in the future?

If not, can I add an aftermarket one, and what would I look for?

The Skene Designs programmable dimmer can be added. There's a thread on it over on FJRForum.com.

    Good Friday to All -

    Just a few notes:

MM8's - We are discontining the MM8 lights at the end of this month and will be offering up a few of the remaining lights on ADVrider. These are lights only, meaning no wiring harness/switch (etc).

Payment Option - As an alternative to PayPal, we are now accepting credit cards via our website (or phone).

Givi/Tusk/MondoMotos - Along with our MM Light Kits, we also currently offer products from Givi, Tusk, Akito and more. We are looking to expand and add more great products soon. Until then, if there is anything (motorcycle related) you are looking for, shoot us an email (info@mondomotos.com) we strive to offer the best prices and service.

Thanks and have a GREAT WEEKEND

    Hey Brian,
Im interested in buying 4 of the MM10 lights (no harness or switches etc. needed) as a replacement for the Hella lights that came from the factory on my Moto-Guzzi Stelvio; these have been well documented as being pieces of crap.
What would be the price for the lights only? :ear
