If you look close you can see Cape solitude and the Confluence of the LC.
This one and several more are on one of my routes to Alamo Lake...
One of my favs is an old photo from '04 at Marble Canyon.
Seven Mile wash between Wildcat and the Verde.
Some little side canyon in the same area...
Somewhere south of Winona and east of Mormon Lake... that's Mt. Humphrey above Flagstaff in the distance.
Red Creek off of Bloody Basin towards the Verde... uhm, that's the road.

I know these have been posted already but I though I'd embellish.
It's always been somewhat sketchy. The indians think all motorcycles are evil to the land. The people in Peach Springs where you get the permit are always back and forth on it. I went in and asked for the manager of the permits. when they she came down, I told her that they had been issueing permits to MC's and that I wanted one also. They wanted to see insurance and registration and look at the bikes. Once they were convinced that we were not planning on doing anything but camp at the river and that our bikes were street legal bikes and not just dirt bikes they issued the permit. You have to keep being persistant but it is their land and their permits so It's just the way the wind is blowing for that day I guess.
Although that trip was cut short for me due to weather moving in, It was good to be able to ride the one day we did. I will always remember that as it was the last ride I took with your dad and the first ride I had done with you for many years. it was great to be with you guys.
