Ahoy BWDR. As some of you may know, I'm seriously thinking about a RTW trip 1 to 2 years down the road. I'm starting the planning phase and am starting to lay out my route. I've decided that the best way to lay out a route is to mark all those: roads, sights, and places that I want to see and then the route will more or less create itself. I've started a thread under Trip Planning HERE, so please post up with your suggestions/recommendations of things to see and do.

    Thanks.

(sorry for cross posting this if you've already come across this on another thread. :norton)

    That's awesome XC!
I wanna do a ride too, but I can't until after I retire from my job, which isn't for another 5 years.
I look forward to your RR and pictures/videos. :lurk
If you come through the Philly area and need a place to stay, hit me up.
    Good luck!

    Thanks Brenda, bookmarked for reference.

Thanks, it has been a while since I've been to Philly; well unless you count that time about a month ago when I went to Revzilla to get some new gear. I would like to go back and explore the city; last time I did that I was on a fifth grade field trip! :lol3

Well my leg is in a cast for 5 weeks, so I can't ride until then.
But if you come up this way, you have a place to stay.
My garage is small, but there is room to wrench on the bike or just park it.
We can take the cage out to explore some of the watering holes. :-)

Good luck on the round the world trip XC!

I find that the forums here are a great help and there is nothing wrong with leafing through a Fodors now and then for key spots. The thorn tree travelers site helped me in the past as well. Go with you gut.

Jeesh man you have the tat under your belt.
You will be writing your own ride report!

There was some left over ramps from LF. So since Mary went on travel this am, I went and grilled a bunch up in butter, Dillo spice and a little balsamic vinegar..........topped it off with crushed bacon. :dg

Well I got ramp revenge this after......I've been Blooching up a storm.:rofl

Like you all needed to know that:D

Omlets stuffed with ramps, asiago and cheddar cheeses and smoked farmers bacon Thursday and then last night I made a heavy cream sauce with ramps mixed in and then dribbled crumbled sage sausage over the top - all over angle hair pasta.

Still have some ramps left. Goose said he was going to pickle some. Be nice to see how that turns out.
