Death Riders, check in!
here we go
Ride home was awesome! Managed to outrun the t-storms... how'd everybody else do??
My ride home was good. I left pretty early Monday morning, took about seven hours altogether, and beat the bad weather by several hours.
Somewhere along the way I lost the bolt holding the end of my handguard and the left hand bar-end weight, though. I pulled over into a rest area and taped it up. I need to give the whole bike a good going-over at this point for damages and loose bits.
Cathy and I had a great ride back to the Beach.
We had to do some "I" Slab which was no fun at all, but then managed to get off and hit the back roads where it was much cooler and fun to ride again after being on the Interstates.
I want to thank all the Camping buddies that made a great week end.
BIG THANKS to Loftus, Holley and Tucker who made Camp B.w.d.r. possible.
that drive sucked! But DAMN it was sooooo worth it! One hell of a weekend!
Loftus, post that pic of the crew...I can't get my DVD to load.
new decals on the way... some will be photo reflective... all is well here as i franticly prepare for SA... will try to post while there...
a motley crew .. no doubt...
here we are, John is looking lively on the end
Friends Cathy and Rod from South Africa/Myrtle Beach
John looking suave and relaxed however the trash in the background is quite appropriate
Good times, good times...PM me if there's another event as I have my own region to monitor
Did I leave a blue t-shirt there by any chance?
If so, don't turn it into a rag, man. It's a brand new ex-officio
Looks like I missed a good time, We waited at the hotel on Sunday until 5 for John to call than we gave up and headed north. Maybe next time we are in the area
e tried to but the # you gave him did not work. I cried and cried because you were not there. You are welcome any time
JD - I saw your shirt in the bathroom, but remember when we ran out of T.P. Sunday night?? Well, I think someone must have gotten desperate, because it wasn't looking very blue when I saw it Monday morning.....
Dammit, that's not how wicking technical gear is supposed to prevent monkey-butt!
