Finally got the insurance from my crashed KLR settled, and back in the saddle! This time on a new 2013 F800GS, thanks to Justin at Trails End. Couldn't be more pleased with Justin, and the buying experience. Wasn't pushy, had test bikes ready to go; just great all around, thanks again Justin!

Feels damn good to be back on two wheels, I can tell ou that. No post crash jitters whatsoever, I was chomping at the bit, to ride again. Hope we have a nice fall, so as to make up for lost time.

Congrats on the new bike. I think we met at Justin's desk yesterday. Have fun and be safe.

Yes, congrats on the new ride Jeff. That new 800 should have you smiling big time! Now go get it dirty and put on those miles for the first check up.

By my estimation: time you get kickstand down in HOMER, you'll be ready for the 600 mile oil change.
Guest shack is open ( and free ) this weekend, drain pan and BMW filter on hand.
Call or PM for exact co-ordinates.
    enjoy the bike.

Thanks everyone! So jazzed, I got off work this evening, bolted on some hand guards, and wired in my Gerbings pigtail, and rode until damn near midnight! Glad I wired in the Gerbings.....it was 38F, when I rolled into the Sophie Station parking lot! Will try to post up a pic of the bike, sometime soon.

A quantum leap for sure! Both great bikes in their own genre.

Don't want to accept that winter is on the way.
