Has anyone got / tried or seen these lights?

    http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDetail?ItemNumber=497063

Really interested in buying a pair, had their double racing Flood / Spot before on a previous bike

I know they're 'kin expensive but i believe you get what you pay for.

Any observations experiences would be great

    Thanks

I have one on the little bike...

And two on the big bike...

Love 'em. Yeah they're expensive, but when you switch them on you forget all about the price.

True story: Riding in Death Valley at night (on pavement), I was the last to fill my tank and hung back for a few minutes. Then got on it to catch the rest in my group... and then that lead to a pass at speed (none of them had anything worth while for lights). I was not outrunning the lights even at triple digit speeds. Back at camp... they all commented that when my lights first came up behind them, they could not believe that our chase truck was going so fast (our chase truck has seven big HIDs on the front). Yeah, they are that bright.

Any pics of them mounted? Link to BD website was I believe for a 950 specific kit but there were no pics of it mounted.

Also, is rock damage an issue? Or is there some form of replaceable lens protection in the kit?

Got a pic of where they mount up? Does it mess with a high fender?

I've got one on my 500. Stupid bright.

It plugs right into the stock light plug on the (already DC) 500, so it's super simple to add. Any time I have to jump on the road with it, I get flashed immediatly and my friends hate riding in front of me. The reflection from street signs is almost annoying. Anyway, there is a dimmer switch that I just ordered. If you're gonna ride at all on the road with it, get it. :deal

I used this on the big bike. I think it is designed for a low fender Adventure... but I modified it a bit and it seems to work perfectly with the high fender.

If you were to get them individually, which beam pattern would you chose? Are the driving lights the best option if you were only going to have 2?

I have a pair of squadrons , a wide cornering on top that is on a dimmer (for use in traffic). A spot squadron on the bottom, and the onx (spot-version) below the squadrons.

When I hit hi beam, all the lights fire up at 100% output.

    They work.....Well!!!

    Thanks,

I will try and put together something for those who are interested. I am still tinkering and not quite ready to present the process. My fab skills are marginal, lots of trial and error, replication should be do-able though.
I hope to wrap things up relatively soon. I will definitely share all the details if there is any interest.

Is this the only mounting option provided (as stock) by the kit?

I preferred traveltoads mounting under the fairing.

Assume similar would be possible on low-fender Adventure. Maybe also on high-fender Adventure, similar to Traveltoads SE.

I don't know if that bracket is still made... but it would bolt right up to a low fender Adv.
