Entering riders pay for crew's meal plans and crew members will fill out a registration form and sign waivers and releases at or just prior to the event

Heres what the payment page looks like.

Right now each rider can enter and pay either 1 or 2

Have the organisers considered banning KTMs from the rally given the recent development in Dakar where the fuel from a leaking KTM sprayed the factory Honda in a light film of combustible material that resulted in the Honda of Paulo Concalves lighting up? Once again the unreliability of the Austrian machines has claimed a victim. At some point this must be recognized. Will the buck stop at the Baja Rally? Inquiring minds want to know.

Johnny I'm out since from what I've read of some of Breauxman's Facebook post he hates the Police more than you hate KTMs and Officers are not welcome to ride with him. I'll make sure to spread the word that we are not welcome to all my fellow public servants, so we stay away.

Wouldnt be the first itme I said something stupid online, in a fit of pique. IN fact, you can probably find both the smart things I've ever said, if you look hard enough :D

    Ok... here's the deal... :deal

This thread and the racing forum in general to highlight and discuss topic's to do with rally/off road-desert racing and other motorsport in general.

If you don't agree with a certain policy or topic; well healthy debate - or even heated discussion for that matter - has never really been "overly moderated" by any of the fair and just mod's that have presided here in RACING forum over the years. That is a forum policy/trend that I for one think is admirable and hope continues.

BUT there is a line. Personal disagreements and/or vendettas from here or imported from elsewher other place DO NOT BELONG at ADVRider.com

...and that's not just something that I, or any of the other mod's have dreamed up recently... it is a fundamental rule implemented from guy that own's the place. So please, let's all keep that in mind - we are ALL guest's here.

Now we all hope (in much the same light as Baja Dad wrote a post or so above) that this thread can continue and be a great sounding board for the Baja Rally 2.0.

There is enough space (both in the real world AND here on ADVRider.co) for all types off off road motorsport to share; whether it is DAKAR and Rallies that float your boat, Baja/SCORE Racing, GNCC, Enduro MX and Supercross... or just plain n00bling along in your favourite riding spot just for the pure pleasure of it... THAT's why it is called Adventure Rider.

If I had the money for all three I'd do them too. We don't need to limit our opportunities on this continent, we need to expand them.

I'm still hoping to show up at Diabolico as a "non racing enthusiast" or crew member if I can work out the logistics. And I'm racing in the Baja Rally 2.0 (used to be I'd say "come hell or high water" but after Irene surrounded my house in 2011, I've retired that phrase)

See you FFs in the desert.

I'm flying out and meeting up with Bill (god willing and the creeks dont rise) so apart from flights, its a meal ticket and I'm not sure what all else $$ beside making sure the bills are paid up at home. Come on out! Shit I was talking about Diabolico. ALthough... by the time September rolls around, if Serres isnt happening, what the hell, lets go back to Ol Meheeko

Just sent in my entry and paid the fee. No clue what I am doing for logistics (living on the wrong side of the country doesn't help) but I have a few months to figure that out :ricky

Jason, you doing this one again this year? Or you just doing Diabolico?

Tumu, you are in for this one right? Will be good to see a familiar face out there.

Hopefully if both of you guys are doing this one we can all work together on logistics.
