Next Saturday 1/14/17 is time for another street ride. Now that the weather is cooler I've tried to capture the flavor and spirit of old Florida with a route to Cross Creek for lunch at the Yearling Restaurant. If you have never been there it should be on your list. The route is 221 miles of old Florida back roads with 5 hours of saddle time. The plan is to meet @ 8am for coffee, doughtnuts, and B.S. @ the Duncan Doughnuts across from the Seminole Town Center 4510 FL-46, Sanford, FL 32771 kickstands up at 9am. The 3 hour outbound loop will put us in Cross Creek when the Yearling opens at noon. The 2 hour return will get us back before 5pm depending on lunch and breaks. So far 2 Sporty's, a v-star, and me on the 9fiddy are IN. PM email for .gpx files maps here: Outbound https://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/spatialArtifacts.do?event=setCurrentSpatialArtifact&id=16023027 Inbound https://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/spatialArtifacts.do?event=setCurrentSpatialArtifact&id=16023044 Disclaimer: this is my church riding group. This is about riding not religion. While there will be no preaching there may be talk of life, love, and God. I don't need a shit storm like A Story Film because "nobody said you guys were Christians." We don't give a shit about your world/life views only if you want an awesome day riding.
