The view from Bad Creek.
Whitewater Falls in the distance.....
A closer look at Whitewater Falls, I've read that they're the highest east of the Mississippi at over 400 ft.
Looking back down at Jocassee
I'm slowing down in my old age.
Just rolling towards home on the 11......

That's a great area down around the hydro lakes. Kirk and I did some riding down there this winter; there's still a lot I need to see.
You are going to make it tough on me not to ride down for some fun.....
Looks like a good time Banjo!

Ya gotta make hay while the sun is shining.

With maybe the exception of those growing Christmas trees.
Black Bear Resort is just up this road a piece.
Quite a bit greener than my latest scouting pics, eh?
Headed for a 'high valley' off yonder somewheres......

Early arrivals that camped 'up top' Wed night.
Thursday morning about a dozen? bikes lining up to follow me over to the Hawg-n-Dawg for lunch via Unaka Mtn rd and Beauty Spot Gap.
We didn't lose anybody due to somebody not waiting for the bike behind them this year!
We lost the clear blue skies on Thu but managed to escape any rain.
A pee break that just happened to coincide with a flat tire. That's sallydog and Little Dog Chirico that rode together on that Super Tenere some 11,000 miles in the past few weeks leading up to the RDV!
The flat tire happened right behind where I stopped...how lucky was that?
So she brought the bike up to the wide spot we had stopped in to change the tube.
Little Dog supervises.
Just stand back and watch 'em go.
