Well it only took 3 hours to do thirtysome pics :huh (just like being at Lady D's :lol3)

The South doesn't have the abundance of vibrant color fall color like New England does but.....we have our 'splashes' here and there. :D

:nod Yup....Kings Mtn State Park (which adjoins Kings Mtn National Park) That cabin is actually the restrooms at the entrance to the living history farm. There's lots of old shanties and sheds in there, you'd like it! :D

Funny thing about those parks is that everything is free on the National side and it's free to drive around on the State side but you have to pay a fee to park and walk around....

After last nights frost I may just ponie up today and tour the farm if the colors look better there this afternoon. Still sipping coffee and waiting for the sunshine to do it's thing yet. :*sip*

Good luck with that Lady D...I hope you get something that works out for you!

Today was mileage lite but picture heavy...I'll try to do my best not to post too many of 'em 'cause quite frankly....a lot them look just alike anyway! :lol3

My wife had some time to ride mid-day today before going to work this evening so I rolled out the XR250 for her so we could hit a few gravel roads too. :thumb

This was the 3rd time in 3 days that I'd ridden up Apple Rd. and with the cold nights we've had there seems to have been a little more color each day....it'll prolly all be gone in a week or two....

Then we looped around the West end of the park on single lane pavement. Check out the old gindstones in this wall.

It was real pretty around that end but, I'm afraid my pics don't do it it's due justice.

CADVR is always a good time. Pinktoad and I are still pretty sore about having to miss it this year for work.

Great pics of the Fall foliage, Kevin!
