Only got out on the bike to run an errand and warm up the oil to do a change today, hoping for a big ride tomorrow. :D

Just these 2 pics to document how low the power lines are. :lol3

    :wave Hey Lady D!

I should have taken a longer ride yesterday as it's not nearly as nice today. :dunno

:scratch Last forecast I had seen was showing 60s and sunshine for today, last night they added a chance of rain for down low but it still looked like it would be sunny and warm in the hills.

This is what I was greeted with at my planned departure. :bluduh

I went back to bed even though I had already eaten breakfast and taken a shower. :lol3 It was going to be bad enough hitting those little pockets of rain and 40 degrees heading North but then have to head into that big ol blob of pink sleet or whatever it was sealed the deal for me.

It looks like it's clearing up to the West of me but it's still cold and damp here at my house. Maybe I'll take a little ride after lunch......

A couple of the old guys from work talked me into getting bundled up to go for a ride this afternoon.

Even though the sun was shining nicely there was a chilly breeze so we stopped to warm up at a neat little small town diner.....

Not much new....just out cruising through the farmland....

I'm hoping to ride down to Daytona next weekend for Bike Week to watch a little racing...namely the SuperCross. So in an effort to scare the rain away I decided to add some waterproofing to my boots.

...but first I need some dinner. :lol3

That warm leather just sucks up all that waxy goodness and dinner is served. :dg

Tomorrow I get to change the rear tire and inspect brakes and bearings.

You can also heat up your reproofing wax.. I find that easier then heating up my boots ...

No, no, no...that's just what one might expect the ladies to say. :rolleyes

:lol3 y'all think those ovens and dishwashers are sacred or something.

I think it's best to warm the leather and open it's pores so that the conditioner can soak in....and it's easier to work with as a paste, if you heat the sno-seal up it'll get all runny. :puke1

Excellent about Daytona!!!! I'm an ol MX fan, and have been keeping up this year. First in a while. :D I'm having fun with the 450s and the lights too. These guys just amaze the sh!t out of me.

    Have a great time!

You have a fun thread that I have enjoyed very much. :thumb over 100K hits, and worth every one of them.

Oh and I have been using snoseal for 30 years :D stuff works. Sucks that you have to "heat it in" But really works.

You know what's funny about that SnoSeal? I asked my Dad to bring that to me all the way from MN but it turns out that it's made right here in SC! :rofl
