Yeah, you should be fine, Just check in with the Ferry folks.

If not, go spend money at Stewman's Lobster Pound at the Bar Harbor Regency next door, Stay for a month or so, and then ask if you can leave the car and trailer there until you come back and spend more money!!!

Yes. We did that the year before last. No problem while we were over there for a week.

As I recall, the ferry parking lot isn't all that big there... may be a problem. I'm thinking a quick call to them would clear this up quicker than asking a bunch of raving lunatics, no?

Don't give the man a hard time about the nose mining. The polymer strands he discovers with his efforts may change how we see the world! :lol3

funny you should say this, we were just talking about this at lunch - how silly it is that we are researching our butts off to basically make stuff that has existed in nature forever. i'm building all sorts of instruments to measure and quantify fluids so we can make them more booger-like and my labmate makes flow cell after flow cell so he can improve his hydrophobic surfaces which are still only marginally better than the natural surface of a lotus-leaf.

    yes, we're nerds.

While in NS, stay at the Normaway Inn in Margaree on Cape Breton. A horse property of 250 acres with a fabulous restaurant. And it is cheap. A bit off the beaten path but a real gem of a place we stumpled upon last week.

    PM me for more details.

This gets a bit redundant in NS... seriously, even the NS "signature resorts" are peanuts for what you're getting when compared to similar fare in New England and the like.

So although they are over $100 a night, they are well worth it. My absolute favorite was the Liscombe Lodge - treat yourself to a night there. Their little cove is picture perfect and the restaurant and outdoor salmon smokehouses, damn, salivating already.
