I stopped by my dealer today and saw my GSA on the showroom floor. I got on and immediately knew I will need some bar risers for comfortable riding on the pegs. I saw the risers on Touratech but these only raise the bars 0.6". I am looking for at least 1" rise or as high as I an go without needing to re-route any wires or lines.

    Any recommendations?

I just put ROX Risers on my 2014 GSA WC. I went with the 1 1/2 inch riser just for the same reason, no need to move any lines. I gott'm from Adventure Designs. Check out their website.

ADVMotorrad sells the 40mm rox risers.
    SW-Motech also sells 40mm risers.
Both claim no line extensions needed. I will be able to tell you whether that's true in about 2 weeks.

I installed 40mm Black Dog Cycle Works bar risers on my GSW. The fit great, look even better, no need to adjust cables. My shoulders and back no longer hurt after a long ride.

I second the black dog. They perfectly match the finish of the bike. Raise 40mm and require no cable adjustments.

Thanks for the recommendation. I take away that I can manage 40mm without extending or re-routing any cables. I'll look at SWMotech, Blackdog and Rox Risers

I put Rox risers on my GSAW and only had to move the lines to the outside of the fork. Works like a charm.

Did you actually try the TT risers with the bar angle changed as well?
It might do the job ... as I, too, thought that I needed more raise.

I did not. The first thing I did was rotate the bars and that made it a bit better (even for riding on the seat) but I am going to need to raise them further. I am 6' 2" and have to lean forward too much when riding on the pegs.

Here's what I've found with help from folks:

    Touratech 15mm $73.50
    [IMG]

    SW-Motech 40mm $124.99 (specified for 2013 R1200GS, not sure if they will work on the 2014 R1200GSA)

    Rox Risers 50mm $135 (pivoting)

    Black Dog 40mm $145

I just got the new Touratech catalog and they now have 15mm, 25mm and 40mm risers for the GSW/GSAW

TT 40mm risers would be the perfect ones... I can't find them on line to order

I chose the Rox risers because I didn't want the bars to come loser to me as I elevated them 2". With Rox you have axis that you can use to custom position your bars.

I got tired of waiting on the pull back from Wunderlich and ordered these.

I just got the new 2014/2015 Touratech catalog last night, lots of new things in the catalog. Not sure when they will update the website. You could call them.

I put the Wunderlich's on this winter. Took it for first trial ride yesterday, I really like them. I like to sit far back in the seat and now don't have to reach for the bars as much. Sort like a telescoping steering column. Nice.

"Talked" to Matt at Touratech and he confirmed that they will have sets of 25mm and 40mm risers coming out within the next couple of weeks. These are not on their website yet but the pricing will be $73.50 for the 25mm (part # 045-5256) and $81.60 for the 40mm (part # 045-5257).
