I love Barber and hope to go back again soon. I heard one guy say that almost all of the bikes are in running order and if they put a battery and fluids back in, most can be running in short order!!! :clap

Actually we have a good selection of off road bikes, m/x, trials, enduro etc. but we are running out of room to display them. Those darn Lotus just take up too much space!

I went to Barber to do a track day and didn't even know the museum was there till I showed up. Once I saw it I told the wife we were spending another day in Leeds! That place is great!

Sounds like there is a little more around there now...when we went the only hotel was at the end of the road...I had to fight the cockroaches for my pillow! :lol3

Tell Mr. Barber to get busy and build another facility for the cars. :D
I'll come see that one too. A Lotus and Porsche museum maybe...hmmmm.

We had a great time at your museum but a little bummed we couldn't get downstairs to see the shop and the Porsches.

Thanks for sharing so many great pictures.

I have been meaning to get there for years but it hasn't happened.

    This is a great reminder.

I rode solo 520 miles round trip on a rainy/ drizzly at best day to Orlando when the Art of the Motorcycle display was there and even that was worth it.

This is way better though. Of course there was a Britten at the AOM display and that was more than half of the reason I went through the trouble (rainy boring turnpike/ I-95 ride) that day.

Here is a link to the album from that day- sorry, I know it SHOULD be a SmugMug account.

I visited art of the motorcycle in Memphis on the way home from Barber a few years ago. Barber was much better.
One of my visits Brian Slark came up and said hi. Nice to meet someone who played such a role in the motorcycle industry and with so much knowledge.

Can't count how many BSA's, Nortons, Triumphs and other British bikes the museum holds. It's amazing.
