Liver & onions...I heard that! :clap

    Just a heads up:
As beautiful as the BR is for us on dirtybikes, the road is used by many other vehicles, especially near the campsites. I have even seen "tourists" in mini vans & 40 ft land yachts attempting the tighter sections of this wagon road!! I have also come over a rise only to find hikers with kids walking the entire trail.
So as much of a hoot as this camp is & this historic road, please remember that plenty of others are out enjoying it too & we should respect it so as to be able to continue to ride & camp on it for years to come.
    Thanks.

    ...count me in.

This event is week end before our/my PSSR trackday out at ORP, a gnarly tight road race track on the other side of the Deschutes River in Grass Valley, which is a darn good road ride to/from in itself.

Should there be interest, I would be happy to lead a ride out there to the track and back. SO far, nothing is scheduled track wise for the Barlow event weekend, so if track is cold could walk it or tour it FYI. AND, should there be interest, I will cut a discount code for the ADV FF's that would like to sign up for our track day there on June 7.

Other than that, will see u in camp and raise u 350cc's!

Well, I think I'll have to get in on this again. I sure as hell hope the camp chairs don't all decide to commit suicide in the fire again.

Thanks for making this MORE fun.
    Damn chairs, anyway.
Don't they know how much they are truly needed?

I thought true camp chairs were made of firewood.

Those dilapidated flamable chairs, they do have a tendency to jump on in & keep the night going! :D

Does make them easier to pack out coming home!

Sounds fun. Wish I could make it, but I think I'm going to be pretty busy right about then! I'll be helping get Jackson Creek Ranch ready for the next weekend. :norton

Looks like a lot of fun, but you lost me at liver and onions. :puke1. I would love to go, maybe next year, too close to our OBCDR trip with my buds. Hey Apple Jam I look forward to meeting you at the Wallowa rally in June

Don't you got a woman to do that kinda stuff for you, now?
Holee molee I hope she knows I'm kidding. I DO know better,... believe me. I should probly edit this before she kicks my ass.

It's just a weekend, it's just a few of us that extend it to the Thursday before. I always look forward to meeting all-a-yas. That's why I do this, and why I wanna make new ADVers feel welcome. OBDR was awesome, yer gonna love it!!!

I bumped into you in Packwood a while back when I was out riding with Tom on his NX250 and you were nearing the end of some weeks-long ride. You seemed like a solid guy to ride with, and this sounds like a fun road and fun area. I'm going to stick the dates on my calendar and see how things pan out when they're closer.

    Solid?
    Now dontcha go spreading rumours!

That was 2011. I'll never forget the HELL that we had juat come from after knocking that hole in the bottom of my motor, and I'll never forget the look on Tom's face after he hugged me and said...."you stink" :lol3 Yeah, it had been a few days since my last shower. Tom had just painted that yellow, and I thought he got a new bike! You were both headed up Bethell Ridge, as I recall. I finally rode that two Summers ago, taking WABDR down from Wenatchee. LOVED all those rocks coming up from Nile.

You do want to come to this. The Barlow Road is fun, but these hooligans that're coming are more fun. Jungle Man, whom shared that 3-week moto-camping trip with me, will be there also. Now we just need Tom to come help "preride" for the Rally in the Gorge :norton

Now that I know this isn't blocked by my buddy's wedding, I'm going to try very hard to make it! Last year was a riot! Night ride was awesome and borderline panic inducing for noobs trying to keep up! :p3rry

My wife just acquired her first bike (never been on a dirt bike before!), so this should make a great intro to overnighting for her before our OBDR trip later in the summer! :ricky

I'll pass on the liver and onions, but will be looking forward to some of the other camp meals you guys throw together! Let me know what I can bring to aid in group meals!
