Early trek out to Mountainside Market to get some food. Then splore 231 and sourrounding roads. 231 is off 522. Thanks to Scot for showing me that area.

This may involve LOTS of turning around, staring at GPS, and other BMW nerd activity.

    Other nerds welcomed.

Figure we should be at Mountainside Market between 9am and 10am - ROUGHLY.

    Nerd......:rolleyes

Head over and find Graves Mountain Lodge.....then find White Oak Canyon.

From there find the all gravel way down to 33 at Swift Run Gap. It exists and is a good time on GS's.

Does this have anything to do with the extreme smoking after the tip over? Come on, spill...what up? :huh

Don't think so. I think it was smoking because oil ran into the cat. and we never got it hot enough burn it off. It stopped a few minutes after we got on the road. the connecting rod sheared. Check the pics at big mean & nasty

I had me a fancy time.

I like tunerfish sammiches and not having to crap on the way home.

It was nice meeting Cityclip and the Mcskylinekeith.

Barry and I took some backroads to git home to minimize our slab.
I shoulda worn my riding pants. I got monkey butt really bad. I was lazy this morning though.

ps - Oh - when I returned home the wife surprised me with high performance "wicking" boxer/briefs for my riding. I have a good wife.

445 miles today. Not a bad time. After you guys split, City clip , squiggy and I took off on some backroads. Then Cityclip took off on the highway, and squiggy and I kept on exploring more roads. Until eventually we made it to Marshal, then my dark visor wasnt helping and we slabbed it home from there.

I like those roads alot, super twisty roads are fun, but I like those little ones best. :D

I hear dccom had another 211/33 ride.
