Taylor's pass is quite nice, I've ridden it a couple of times now. Good surface single lane road undulating over the hills. Runs straight out of the Blenheim burbs so you miss all that SH1.

yes that's the way I always go. I was wondering from Petes post if it had been closed or something. I think now he meant 'Could there be any better way to get into Awatere - No" but then again maybe I've misinterpreted it.

Basil has a new home in Rapaura. We'll be down there on the Jan.15. Hope to get some riding in, before work gets the better of me.

Oh cool. Just watch those pissed greyheads coming out of the winerys along there. It.s a good road to zoom along till someone pulls out on ya. We should have a intro ride when you get settled in.

    Much land? 3 car garage?

1500m2 and two car garage. It's 20 years old, but still in good nick. We're 800 metres away from the Drylands restaurant. Once we're settled in I'll stock up the fridge for you guys.

I have caught him a few times sneaking round my place. Harmless enough, but just a bit weird.

Basil got a wof this morning and a new rego. He'll be off to his baby sitter in the next couple of days. Hopefully, Mr. Hopalong will have full use of his leg again soon, so he can drop him of in Blenheim.:D

you realise you'll be asked by your neighbours when you get down here why you were riding along rapaura rd yesterday at 70kph with an open helmet in the torrential rain.

Hmm, was there a speedlimit? Rain can hurt, eh? Oh, did you ever get a chance to pick up those pannier racks? I'll end up forgetting that I'd bought them.

You'll need a running bike, before you'll need to worry about a seat. By running, I mean moving under its own power. :lol3
