Me too as long as it is not not too early - maybe closer to 6:30PM.
I have a busy travel schedule, but heck yeah. I'm always down with food & good company.
Did that, the bumps were to help people avoid it until the mods could handle it.
lol, I like how they handled it... with a little style.
I'll never complain about going to Sam's. :dg
Thanks for the Low Gap Road intel ... Enjoy that road when I can ... Love to see you at the club, anytime ...
I was in Death Valley this week on my other adventure bike, a '73 Tiger:
That's my friend Kalle on his '48 Chief in Titus Canyon ... so we missed Dylan's slideshow ... Hope some BAARC-ers made it down ...
See you around the campfire,
nice pic john.

Awesome Indian pic John!
wow, that's awesome.
I am going to Death Valley on friday 11-9-12 back on 11-12-12 I have room in my truck for one or two more.
we are campimg of the bikes. this trip is to ride more of the north end of death valley. you will need to camp off your bike, go 140 mile on one tank of gas. I would say 650cc or smaller, weather at this time looks very good 78-45f deg. should be able to hold your own and not cry if the riding gets hard . but it should not be bad. the hotsprings, race track , steel pass are a few of the places we will hit up. Anyone want in? Bert
Hello Bay Area Adventure Riders
Just wanted to stop in and say HI
I Ride a XR650L, split lanes, ride wheelies and park anywhere I fit.
I live in the North Bay and am a weekend warrior---have a company cage for work @ 50 + hours a week.
I also ride a FLTRU. if any one is down to ride in north bay shoot me a pm
I had to Google FLTRU. It's a Harley. Nice looking Honda. Very clean.
+1 on the XRL - nice looking bike, John.
Hope you guys had a good trip! We're planning/hoping to ride the KLRs down to Saline Valley for Thanksgiving ... depending on the weather, I suppose ...
Looking forward to hearing about your trip, and any news about getting in and out of the Saline Valley ...
see you around the campfire,
Nice Honda and nice Harley ... I have an '85 FXSB (Evo in Shovel-head four-speed frame) ... been up to Alaska a couple of times (not on my Harley), and 80% of the bikes I saw on the Alcan were Harleys ...
Most of my Harley buddies who are also on ADVrider have a KLR as their dual-sport bike ... nice to see your cool XR-L!
see you in the parking lot,
Hoping to see the usual suspects this afternoon at the Dirtbag Challenge! We'll be wandering around looking at all the cool bikes between 2 and 4 pm ...
After the Dirtbag, we'll be showing MotoGP at the San Francisco Motorcycle Club starting at around 5pm ... it's the last Moto GP race of the season ... 18th Street and Folsom ...
BAARCers always welcome!
See you at the fountain,
