    Feeling like I was coming down with the bride&#8217;s summer cold, I said f*** it, &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to sit around the house this weekend in the heat&#8221;. So I threw a few things together and stuck out Saturday morning for some cooler elevation. Don&#8217;t have many photos but the ride was rich with wildlife, folks and sights. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    Whitesides: Climbed this back in the day. Original Route 2x&#8217;s with Fatdog, Kian, Super Squirrel and New Diversions with <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Henley</st1:place>.

    795 miles later back home and whipped, cold's definitely settled in, at least I beat the devil for a couple days.<o:p></o:p>

    Nice pics Bart. I bet it was 10 degrees cooler up in Cashiers while you were there. I camped at Mt. Pisgah on the BRP two weeks ago and it was very nice to get away from the heat.
