I like most of them and trade about every two years just for the fun of it. There is only one bike that I would not buy and its any thing HD.

Added it up, I'm not really a brand snob, but over the years and over 300,000 miles its been a string of BMWs. Now have an old Ural and am totaly hooked

In sheer numbers it's Honda for me. Also a string of Yamahas and a Triumph before I discovered the GS. (This is about street bikes so I'll leave out several MX and trials bikes in my younger years.) Since I learned in the dirt I've always been more comfortable and felt far safer on an upright bike. Cruisers and their sloth-riding position have zero appeal for me.

But my taste in bikes shifted as my riding style morphed into more of a long distance checking out the back roads thing. I have more miles on my BMWs than all the other brands I've owned combined.

For me, it's been BMW all the way except for a Viffer a few years back. Because I am tall and long legged, BMWs just plain fit my frame. That, plus the shop offered unlimited test rides on their Beemers made me a BMW customer for life.
