Adding waypoints to my map. Not too much time to type. Trying to get as far west as we can in first few days... See my trip map: http://trackmytour.com/0Sg0b

I'll have to add the some descriptions later. Difficult to type on the phone. And I need to keep the odometer rolling.

So it drives me nuts how little experience you two have out on the road.

And quit simply you have no business undertaking this trip.

Your gear sucks, your obviously completely unprepared for whatever comes your way.

Your bikes do not match, and what a pair you must make riding down the road.

With that said this is the epitome of what a motorcycle adventure should be.
Honestly I think it is wonderful that you are undertaking this journey and tossing caution to the wind. Anything can happen and you guys are simply willing to deal with it as it comes, just as it should be.

I absolutely Love what you two are doing.

I bid you both a wonderful safe trip, I hope you make it to your destination and back on time. Thanks for taking us along, great once in a life time experience. :clap

eggzackly! This thread is the perfect antidote for all of the usual mental masturbation that goes on in trip planning and a multitude of other ride reports. Good Lord men! How could you consider leaving sight of your home without at least 6 pieces of Touratech gear and a $600 dollar helmet!!! No to mention $2500 of specialized riding gear and a nifty camp stove! :lol3

    Well done Men! Carry on!

If you take an MSF course, you can bypass the drivers road test and take the written test. Then you'll get your license endorsement.

Loose gravel and the burgman with so much weight on the back does not make it for a good match... The ass be sliding all over the damn road.

Looks like you two are having a good trip. Stay safe, ride in the middle of the road thru towns. If your in the middle of the road, then they can't say they didn't see you. Good luck. Love all your luggage on the scoot.
